Gregory Douglas Obituary
Gregory Douglas, born on April 25, 1977, passed away on June 23, 2025, in Palatka, FL.
He attended Palatka High School and was known for his love of fishing and spending time outdoors.
Gregory is survived by his mother, Pamela Wilkinson; father, Geary Douglas; sons, Gregory Johnson and Jacob Douglas; daughter, Olivia Douglas; brothers, Chad and Dustin Douglas; grandmother, Buena Wilkinson; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jack and Nelma Douglas; maternal grandfather, Ray Wilkinson; and stepmother, Tammy Douglas.
A service to celebrate Gregory's life will be held at Life Church Palatka, Florida, on July 11, 2025, at 12 p.m.
Gregory was a member of Life Church of Palatka, where he was actively involved in the community.

I hadn't seen you since I was 13 and I moved out of state over 30 years ago. We wrote each other letters for a long time. We lost touch but a month or so ago, we were trying to make plans to meet for lunch and get caught up on each other's lives. I wish we would have been able to do that. Rest in Peace

Well last couple months, we´ve worked a little bit together. He help me out a lot appreciate all his work and dedication to the job. He was a good lather I just hate gone now I´m gonna to miss him he always text me to see if we had any work. Love you glad that we got to spending the last couple months to get it working. I´ve seen that Circle K ever now again and I finally got his number so if I did work pray for family and friends, God be with them

Greg, I can´t believe you´re gone man. We lost touch after high school. Life has taken us all on different paths and different directions. My path took me a thousand miles away from home. But thanks to FB we were able to stay connected. You were always like a brother to me. Always smiling and being goofy. I wish we would have talked more. I would have liked to see your smiling face just one more time. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Till we meet again. Rest easy my friend.

This just breaks my heart. I found out the other day when I got to work. I opened my phone to do my social media posts for work and ur face was the top story. I was just in shock.I barely go on social media anymore except to do work stuff, but soon as I opened the app, u were smiling back at me with someone saying u were gone. I'm so tired of burying loved ones. But at least I do know that u r up there with Jesus. No more pain or struggling or suffering. Hold it down till we get there and me and everyone else will do our best to look out for Stephanie down here. That's the worst part. She is truly heartbroken without u. I pray for her daily to summon the strength to get thru this. Well, fly high, Greg!!!

You are missed my friend, but I know without a shadow of a doubt you are with Jesus. I value all the time we had together and you will never be forgotten, your name will live on, I will fight addiction with all the fight I have in me. I am honored to do your service Friday, I pray that it will bring some type of closure to myself and all others that love you. Look down on us, and scream! IT IS REAL! HEAVEN IS REAL!
