Gregory C. Dumond

1961 - 2025

Gregory Clarence Dumond, age 64 of South Windsor, CT passed away unexpectedly on March 8th, 2025. Greg was born in Caribou, ME on February 14th, 1961. He graduated from Howell Cheney Technical High School. Greg was married to his high school sweetheart Elizabeth (BJ) Dumond on July 24, 1982; they were married for 42 years. Greg worked as a Facilities and Construction Manager for 40 years throughout his career. He cherished time spent with family and friends. Greg also enjoyed boating, motorcycle rides, fishing, and cruising in his Mustang (GISUHO). Greg's smile and laughter will remain in our hearts forever. Greg was also a 24-year member of the Manchester Elks Lodge. Greg is survived by his wife Elizabeth (BJ) Dumond, sons Tyler and Derek Dumond, and his granddaughter Mollie Dumond; his sister Sharon and husband Steve Eastbrook; his brother Randy and wife Christine Dumond; his sister in law Ronnie Rogers, his sister in law Cheryl and husband Larry Gallmeier; his sister in law Mary and husband Dennis Bloking; his brother in law David and wife Susan Rogers; his brother in law Richard Rogers and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Greg was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Delcia Dumond; his mother-in-law Elizabeth Kusha, his father-in-law William Rogers and brothers-in-law Billy and Stephen Rogers. Our hearts are heavy, we were so fortunate and blessed to have this amazing man as a husband, father, and grandfather in our lives. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 23rd at Maneely's in their lodge at 65 Rye Street, South Windsor, CT 06074.
