Gregory James Garrity

Danvers, MA - It is with profound sadness that the family of Gregory James Garrity, DC announce his passing on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at age 60. The son of Ann Garrity and Robert F. (Mike) Garrity, Greg was raised in Beverly where he attended Beverly Public Schools. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Keene State College and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic, where he graduated magna cum laude. "Dr. G" as he was affectionately known to patients, came back to Massachusetts where he worked as an associate doctor in Lynn and eventually opened Garrity Chiropractic in Danvers. He proudly cared for North Shore families for over 35 years.
Greg and his wife, Sandy, lived in Manchester by the Sea before purchasing their home in Beverly. On weekends Greg enjoyed working in his yard and tinkering in his workshop. A self-proclaimed "audiophile", Greg loved refurbishing stereo equipment and was always looking for the highest quality sound for his eclectic music collection; however, his biggest passion, by far, was attending his children's sporting events, where he could be found on the sidelines of fields and courts enthusiastically cheering on his favorite people.
In addition to his wife Sandy, Greg will be dearly missed by sons Matthew and companion Rebecca, Ryan and companion Alyssa, daughter Katie and fiancé Ben, mother Ann Garrity, siblings Tom, Sharon, Chrissy, Chris, and his dogs, Charlie and Tucker. He was predeceased by his father Robert F. (Mike) Garrity, and sister Laura Garrity.
