Kenneth Dean Jacobs

Kenneth Dean Jacobs, 89, of Nashua, New Hampshire, died on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at Beverly Hospital in Beverly, Massachusetts. He was born on September 14, 1936 in East St. Louis, Illinois, the son of the late Carl and Ruth (Schmidt) Jacobs. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 50 years, Winefred H. (Duell) Jacobs; infant twin sons, Alvin and Melvin; his sister, Alice Ganaway; and brothers, Donald and Robert Jacobs.

Kenneth served 11 years in the United States Air Force during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was stationed at Lowry Air Force Base in Colorado when, at the age of 18, he met his wife, Winnie, on a blind date. He later moved his family overseas while stationed at Kadena Air Force Base in Okinawa, Japan. He concluded his military career at Edwards Air Force Base in California.After leaving the Air Force, Kenneth accepted a position with Tektronix and relocated his family to Portland, Oregon. While working full-time and supporting his family, he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Electrical Engineering from Oregon State University. Following graduation, he accepted a position with ACCUTEST, based in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, which required a cross-country move to Nashua, New Hampshire. Later in his career, he founded his own businesses, KDJ Associates, Inc., and later, LANLINK.

He is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Hansen (Daniel) of Nampa, Idaho; son, Ron Jacobs (Patricia) of Gresham, Oregon; daughter, Ruth Stacy (Richard) of Nashua, New Hampshire; and daughter, Janice Wenrich (Timothy) of Sherwood, Oregon. He is also survived by five grandchildren: Sarah Johnson (Nick), Jeanette Voss (Matt), James Wenrich (Kasandra), Christopher Stacy, and Jacob Hansen; and one great-grandson, Ethan Voss. In addition, he is survived by his sisters-in-law, Elaine Duell, Pauline Jacobs, Gen Duell, Bonnie Duell and Irene Duell, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
