Eleanor C. (Lynn) McGee, a longtime resident of Nashua and the widow of Jack W. McGee, passed away peacefully at Nashua Crossing on the morning of February 2, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.

Born in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, on July 28, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Eleanor (Krimm) Trayer. Eleanor received her education in Williamsport schools and went on to attend Temple University School of Nursing in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she graduated as a registered nurse in September of 1955. On April 12, 1958 Lynn married her long time love, Jack W. and enjoyed nineteen years of marriage together.

After getting married Lynn and Jack resided in Danvers, Massachusetts and then moved to Nashua in the early 1960's. Alongside raising her family, she worked as a private duty nurse and at Greenbriar Terrace Healthcare in Nashua.

A devoted mother and grandmother, Lynn found her greatest joy in spending time with her family and friends. At her beloved home on Lake Winnipesaukee, she delighted in boating, fishing, and taking in the beauty of breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. Lynn had a deep passion for sports and took special pleasure in cheering on her grandchildren at their many sporting events. She was an avid bridge player and also found happiness tending to her beautiful gardens.

In addition to her parents, Eleanor was predeceased by her husband Jack, who passed away on October 19, 1977; her brothers, Thomas and Robert Trayer; and her sister, Ann Jones.

Members of her family include her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia C. "Patti" and Tim Joseph of Nashua; her son and daughter-in-law Jack and Sara McGee of Merrimack; four grandchildren, Kyle Joseph and his wife Kristen, Sean Joseph and his wife Limor Pickolz, Brendan McGee; and Jillian ( McGee) Allan and her husband Jeff; three great -grandchildren, Ellie Joseph, Maddie Joseph and William Allan; a sister Joan Schoonover; also several nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held for her family. Donations may be made in her memory to hospice care or a favorite charity of one's choice.
