James Alan McGee

James Alan "Bimbo" McGee, 70, of Bellevue and formerly of Port Clinton died February 05, 2026 at Stein Hospice in Sandusky, OH. James was born February 06, 1955 in Port Clinton, OH to James Edward and Barbara Ann (Mahler) McGee. He married Ruth Arleen Allyn on September 27, 1985 and she preceded him in death on March 25, 2017. James was a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of the Port Clinton Elks, Port Clinton VFW, Port Clinton Eagles and the former Port Clinton Moose Lodge.

Surviving are his companion: AnnMarie Burrows of Bellevue; children: Nikki Johnson of Rising Sun, OH, Kirby (Melanie) Overmeyer of Green Springs; step-daughter: Kelly (Richard) Richardson of Charlotte, NC; step-son: Bryan Albertson of Port Clinton; grandchildren: Bryce, Erika, Katie, Michael, Mara, Carly, Aubrey, Christian, Anthony, Brocc; great-grandchildren: Mason, Aria, Grant and Keegan; four legged companion: Hunter; siblings: Debbie Hare of Kentucky, Sherry (Joe) Garcia of Arizona , Daniel (Erin) McGee of Montpelier, Patrick McGee of Port Clinton, Tim McGee of Port Clinton and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife: Ruth; parents: James and Barbara McGee; daughter: Melissa Dukeshire, great-grandson: Hayden and brother-in-law: Donald Hare.

Funeral Services will begin 11:00 am Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH with visitation on Wednesday from 9:00 am until the time of the service.
