Gregory P. Gecewicz, a beloved husband, father, and papa, passed away on July 13, 2025, at the age of 72, in Maitland, Florida. Born on June 13, 1953, in Brooklyn, New York, Gregory's life was characterized by a deep commitment to his family, community, and career.

Gregory dedicated ten years of his professional life as an Assistant Manager at King Kullen Grocery, a role he approached with the same diligence and care that he exhibited in every part of his life. After this position, he served valiantly as a narcotics detective for the NYPD, where his resilience and protective nature shone through, reinforcing his proudest accomplishments of serving the community as a police officer and volunteer fireman.

His family remembers Gregory as a funny, caring, and protective presence in their lives. He cherished the time spent traveling across the United States with his loved ones and created lasting memories, including joyful moments dancing at his daughter Mary's wedding.
