Gregory was predeceased by his father Robert G. Glancy, his mother Lynne A. Glancy (nee Segtar) and his brother Robert S. Glancy. Greg is survived by his wife Cheryl Vivino-Glancy and son David R. Glancy along with his brothers Christopher Glancy, Stephen Glancy and Michael Glancy as well as nephews and niece Stephen, Caitlyn, Matthew and Kyle. Greg was raised in Point Pleasant Beach and he attended St. Peters Grammar School and Pt. Pleasant Beach High School, where he played football and was a lifetime Dallas Cowboys fan. His greatest pride and joy, his hero, was his son David. Not one person who knew Greg was not up to date on David's baseball achievements where he is in his third year as a member of the Big East's St. John's Red Storm baseball team.
