Gregory John Schwindt was born February 27, 1959 in Dickinson, ND to Jerome and Veronica “Clemy” (Frank) Schwindt.  Greg grew up and attended school in Dickinson.  Over the years Greg worked at various jobs, from Fisher Industries, helping his mom in her painting business, to maintenance at Comfort inn. Greg married Kimberly Kleinwaechter and to this union three children were blessed, Jessica, Alyssa, and Brandon.

Greg enjoyed spending time with his family, whether fishing, camping or golfing.  He was a tinkerer at heart.  This was evident by his efforts to continually fix and improve all projects he came across.  Greg even enjoyed creating things as an avid builder, constructing things from playgrounds for his kids to hot tubs and fish tanks.  He created many great gifts for his grandchildren.  Greg shared his love of music with his grandkids and taught them how to play guitar.  Greg was always helpful and available to lend hand.  He had a witty sense of humor that was appreciated by all those who knew him.

Greg is survived by his children, Jessica (Brandan) Steier, Dickinson, ND; Alyssa (Jesse) Kuntz, Dickinson, ND; Brandon (Finace` JakeLyn Mehrer) Schwindt, Dickinson, ND; Grandchildren, Tayten, Conner, Briella, Laikyn, Ellsi, and one grandchild on the way; father Jerome; siblings, Pam (Ray) Kilwein, Dickinson; Rita (Steve) Ries, Dickinson; Maynard (Shari) Schwindt, Dickinson; Sharon (Terry) McCloud, Belcourt, ND; Scott (Robbin) Schwindt, Dickinson.

Greg was preceded in death by his mother Clemy.
