Patrick H. Schwindt Jr.

Patrick H. Schwindt, Jr., 52, of LeBoeuf Township, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2026. He was born in Erie on March 27, 1973 a son of Patrick, Sr. and Judy Casper Schwindt.

Patrick graduated from Cathedral Prep and went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude from Edinboro University where he earned his bachelor's degree in anthropology. He was co-owner of Rainmakers Irrigation and a member of St. George Catholic Church. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and reader. He enjoyed camping, was a dog lover, and was a die-hard Cleveland Browns fan. Patrick's selfless nature is evidenced by his decision to be an organ donor which will save many lives.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; and many aunts and uncles.

In addition to his parents survivors include his wife, Julie Buszek Schwindt; his two children, Gabe and Grace Schwindt; two sisters, Heidi Kipp (Mike Hazel) and Gretchen Schwindt Flora (Shane); his nieces and nephews, Jordan and Riley Kipp, Conner and Kirsten Hazel, Lukas Schwindt, and Kenna Leis; his father and mother in law, James and Diane Buszek; and two brothers in law, Jim Buszek and Chuck Buszek (Sara).

Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. and are invited to services there on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
