Gregory L. Hatfield, 68, of Waller, TX, died February 27, 2024, after battling a long illness.
Greg was born in Marion, Indiana, on July 6, 1955, to the late Walter and Dorothea (Click) Hatfield. He grew up in Gas City, Indiana, attended Mississinewa High School, and served in the US Army. He was known for his love of comics, models, cars, and anything sci-fi.
Greg is survived by his children, Dawn (Hatfield) Ament and her husband, Steve, of College Station, TX, and Joshua Hatfield and his wife, Connie, of Waller, TX; his five grandchildren Tristan Ament, Audrey Ament, Samantha Hatfield, Beau Hatfield, Sarah Hatfield; one great-grandchild, Aria Hatfield; his sister Tammy (Hatfield) Armstrong, and her husband James, of Jonesboro, IN; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Greg was preceded in death by his parents, sister Diann Johnson, and brothers, Wally Hatfield and Bob Hatfield. A private interment ceremony will take place at the Marion National Cemetery.
To foster his love of dogs, memorial contributions may be made to the Marion-Grant County Humane Society or the Waller Animal Shelter and Rescue.
