Greg leaves to cherish his memory: Janet Howard (wife), Greg Howard Jr (son), Carrie Howard (daughter-in-law), Christine Howard (daughter), and James Sweeney (son-in-law), William "Billy" Howard (brother), Natalie Howard (sister-in-law), and Marjorie Howard (sister). He was predeceased in death by his mother, Doris Howard, and his father, Gilbert Howard.
Greg married his longtime sweetheart, who he had known since he was 13 years old, in 1968. That same year he joined the Army. After an honorable discharge from the military he was proud to serve in the Fairfax county, Virginia, Fire Department. He retired after 29 years as a firefighter.
Greg enjoyed time with his family, music festivals, riding his Harley, and getting a good bargain. QVC will miss him!
A Celebration of Life event will be scheduled in Fredericksburg, Virginia, at a later date. Gallop Funeral Services was entrusted with local arrangements.
