Gregory Clark Hunt, 75, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2024 in West Chester, Pennsylvania.
Born on March 26, 1949 to parents Elizabeth (Arch) and George Hunt in the city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Greg’s love of drawing and painting started at age 5.
After studying at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History Fine Art Program and later Duquesne University and Penn State University, Greg cultivated his talent into a career as a professional creative, doing what he loved on a daily basis as an art director, graphic designer and creative director for multiple large companies in the greater Philadelphia area – a passion he handed down to his son. In later life, he focused his attention on fine art and his work is proudly included in many private collections across the country.
A proud Army combat veteran, traveler and devoted family man, Greg is survived by his beloved wife and travel partner, Mindy Cooper, his two children from a previous marriage, daughter Betsy (Brian) and son Jonathan (Melissa) and grandson Roman, his sister Anne D’Albora (Louie) and his niece Ali, and will join in passing his parents and dear, late brother Danny and niece Heidi.
A celebration of life service will be held at Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073 on Thursday October 10, 2024 at 5:00 PM. Relatives and friends may visit with the family starting at 4:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Perelman School of Medicine Annual Giving Fund https://giving.aws.cloud.upenn.edu/ are suggested, honoring the wonderful work done by the team there to continually study, learn, innovate and provide care to the community.
