Gregory John Ingrao, 35, of Saco, Maine, passed away on March 29, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and devotion to his family and friends. He was a dedicated father, a beloved son and brother, a loving partner, a loyal friend, and a successful business owner.
Greg is survived by his devoted mother, Diane Ingrao, his adoring sister Alicen Ingrao, his loving partner, Emma Pelletier, his adored daughter, Aya Ingrao, Emma's daughter, Milan Pelletier, who was nothing less than his own, his best buddy- his Bernadoodle Biscuit, his dedicated godmother, Doris Paternoster, and his many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins from the Bargiel and Ingrao families, as well as his wonderful friends. He was predeceased by his cherished father, John Ingrao, his dear godfather, Robert Paternoster, and both his loving maternal and paternal grandparents. His presence brought warmth, joy and security to those around him. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who loved him; and knowing Greg, he will be impossible to ever forget.
Greg was born on October 28, 1989, in Warren, Michigan, and was raised in Sterling Heights, Michigan where he discovered his passions for soccer, basketball, hockey, and paintball. After relocating to Maine in his 20's, he built a life to be proud of from the ground up, filled with love, hard work, and adventure. Greg wore his Italian heritage like a badge of honor, keeping an Italian horn on his chain at all times.
After graduating with a 4.0 GPA from Columbia Southern University, he received his Bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting and finance. Greg worked his way up in the restaurant business and eventually became a proud owner of Otto's Pizza in both Gorham and Auburn, Maine. His dedication, work ethic, and passion for the restaurant industry helped make Otto's Pizza a well respected staple of the community. Greg's kindness, generosity, humor, and unwavering loyalty touched the lives of everyone who knew him. Whether he was cheering for his beloved Michigan Wolverines football team or showing up to play for three different softball leagues, Greg always gave it his all and was sure to reach his full potential. Greg enjoyed the fruits of his labor by vacationing in the sun and being sure that he was always the best dressed, but he also loved simple days spent with family.
There will be a Memorial Visitation on Thursday April 24th from 3 to 8:30pm with a Sharing of Memories service taking place at 7pm at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile Rd). In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Good Sports, a cause that we know Greg would appreciate. Share memories with the family at their "On-Line Guest Book" @ WujekCalcaterra.com
Greg will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to know him. His love and light will never fade, and though he is no longer physically with us, his spirit will remain in the countless lives he touched, forever.
"We don't look at it as we're heartbroken and defeated. We'll come back. A man can be destroyed but he can't be defeated." - Jim Harbaugh
