Gregory Philip "Greg" Killian

Gregory "Greg" Killian, age 51, passed away on October 27, 2025. He was born on January 3, 1974, in Robbinsdale, Minnesota, to Dewey and Martha (Hendricks) Killian.

Greg grew up in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, and over the years lived in several places, including the New England area, where he enjoyed being close to one of his daughters. Eventually, he made his way back home to Minnesota.

A devoted NASCAR fan, Greg could talk racing for hours and never missed an update or a race. His favorite driver was Jeff Gordon, and he also loved demolition derbies and anything that got his heart racing.

Outside of racing, Greg enjoyed the simple joys of life-spending time with his close friends around campfires, listening to music, and sharing laughs. Greg had a wide range of talents which served him well in many different occupations over his lifetime including cable installer, electrician, carnival attendant, and DJ. He enjoyed working with wood and made many fixtures for the home.

Greg was an animal lover who cared deeply for his chickens, cats, and dogs. More than anything, he cherished his family. Being a son, dad, uncle, and brother meant everything to him. Though he didn't have much to give in material things, he gave freely and fully of his heart. He celebrated his family often and held them in the highest regard.

Greg will be remembered for his quick wit, sarcastic humor, and sharp comedic timing. His humor-sometimes dark, always clever-brought laughter to those around him and reflected his one-of-a-kind personality.

He is preceded in death by his father, Dewey; and sister, Becky Wirth.

Greg is survived by his significant other, Jen Mahlman; daughters, Jasmine (fiancé, Jamison) Killian, Natasha Sumstad, and Josie Pugh; 4 grandchildren; mother, Martha Killian; siblings, Jeri Ann Miller and Daryl (Deb) Killian; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Memorial Service will be held Monday, November 3, 2025, at 11:30 AM with visitation one hour prior at The Peterson Chapel of St. Michael – Albertville, 300 Main Street North, St. Michael, MN.
