Gregory Lydic Obituary
05/31/1962 - 02/22/2025
Gregory R. Lydic, age 62, of Toledo, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025, in St. Ann's Hospital. Gregory was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on May 31, 1962, to Joseph and Janice (Peel) Lydic.
Gregory was a graduate of Bowsher High School, he then went on to get a certificate as an auto mechanic. He then went into trucking and had been a truck driver server since. Gregory was very outgoing and hanging with friends was something he did often. He enjoyed working on and restoring cars.
Gregory is survived by his parents, Joseph and Janice; brothers, Jeffrey and Allen; and step-daughters, Wendy and Emily.
Memorial services for Gregory will be on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, in The Urbanski Funeral Home- a Life Celebration Home, 5055 Secor Rd., Toledo, Ohio, where the family will be receiving friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., where the funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m.

I met Greg in 2011 when we worked in Pennsylvania together. We immediately became friends and would spend a lot of time together on the job and also hang out on our off time. We lost contact over the years and I just happened to google his name today to find out the bad news. I´ll miss you Greg! You were a true friend. RIP brother.
