Gregory Brent Martin, 74, of Wichita, Kansas, finished his race with faith and courage on October 10th, 2025. He will be remembered as a steadfast husband, patient father, gentle grandfather, loving brother, dependable friend, and faithful servant of Jesus Christ.
Greg was born April 23rd, 1951 in Wichita, KS to Richard and June Martin. He grew up alongside his older brother Steve, and younger sister, Heidi, with whom he shared many loving memories and a lifelong bond. Greg also treasured his extended family and maintained close relationships with his cousins throughout his life. He graduated from Abilene Christian University with degrees in education and business and went on to have a long career in the aircraft industry, where he earned respect and formed lasting friendships with colleagues.
In 1980, Greg married the love of his life, Toby, and together they raised their three children, instilling in them the values that guided his own life: love, faith, and integrity. In their later years, Greg and Toby enjoyed the fruits of their labor, traveling together, and spending time with their grandchildren at Sunday lunches, and on family vacations.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Martin; mother, June Martin; brother, Steve Martin; and nephew Tyler Houseman.
He is survived by his wife, Toby Martin; their children Andrea Britton, Jeff (Ginny) Martin, and Kelsey (Eric) Andreae; grandchildren Lincoln Britton, Grant Britton, Ellis Martin, Wyatt Martin, Izzie Andreae, Neil Andreae, and Crosby Andreae; sister Heidi (CJay) Houseman, and sister-in-law Nancy Martin, as well as 10 nieces and nephews.
Greg leaves a legacy of faithfulness, gentleness, and generosity that will continue to touch the lives of all who knew him. His example of love, steadfastness, and quiet strength will echo through his family and friends for generations to come. Above all, Greg's life was a reflection of his deep trust in Jesus Christ, and because of that faith, he now rests in the presence of his Savior, having received the eternal reward promised to all who follow Him.
