Gregory D. Martin,
73, of Gibbon Glade, PA, passed away peacefully at home with family by his side, on Monday, March 16, 2026. The son of the late Dale and Mary Martin, he was born on September 2, 1952, in Confluence, PA.
Greg was a U.S. Army Veteran and retired from hotel maintenance in 2024.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila, of 54 years; his son, Gregory Allen, of Gibbon Glade; two granddaughters, Morgan Martin and Matt Walker and Madison Martin and Steve Walker of Morgantown, WV; a sister, Vicki Deal, of Beaver Creek, Markleysburg, PA; and a very special non-related grandson, Isaac Marcinko. Also surviving are several brothers-in-law, sisters-in- law, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Gregory was preceded in death by his in-laws, Lavard and Jean Ryan, and brother-in-law, Gary Deal.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
The Carl R. Spear Funeral Home in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, WV, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
