Gregory Matricardi Obituary
Gregory, of Philadelphia, passed away on March 4th, 2023, at the age of 58. He was the beloved husband of Teena Matricardi; dedicated father of Megan, Anthony, and Isabella; and loving brother of Carmine (Karen), Cathy, Karen (Michael), Richard (Randee), and Mark (Renee). Greg also will be greatly missed by his many nieces and nephews, as well as his loyal dogs Derek and Milo.
Greg was raised in Willow Grove, PA by his parents Richard and Isabelle Matricardi. He graduated from Upper Dublin High School; class of 1982. He then went on to have a 35-year career with PGW. He was an avid Philadelphia Sports fan and enjoying a beer while watching. Greg enjoyed riding his two Harleys and his dirt bikes with his son. Greg was a devoted Rolling Stones fan; you could always catch him belting out the wrong lyrics to his favorite songs. He was a dedicated father not just to his children, but all the children in the neighborhood. He loved spending time with his family, and trips to Wildwood. Greg recently enjoyed lifting weights with his son Anthony in their garage gym. He was a kind person, everyone's friend, and Greg was the best hugger.

I just learned a few minutes ago about Greg's passing; I am so sorry. I haven't seen your family in years, but I remember the last time I saw Greg he bought me perogies - really good ones from a place in Philly. He was always kind and thoughtful and brought a smile to my face. The Matricardi family is in my thoughts and prayers.
