Gregory McKay Obituary
Gregory Charles McKay, age 70, of Harborcreek Twp., passed away September 8, 2024 at
Hamot Medical Center.
He was born in Erie on July 2,1954, the son of Charles J. McKay and
the late Mary (Sementilli) McKay.
Gregory was employed with at Seaway Manufacturing Corporation for 48 years after retiring in
2021.
In addition to his father, Gregory is survived by his wife Debra J. (Novak) McKay; his daughter
Angela C. McKay; his stepdaughters Paula Salow, Stephanie Salow (Russ) Williams; his brothers Daniel B. (Ann) McKay, Gerald A. (Connie) McKay; his sister Pamela A. (Michael) McKay; his brother-in-law Anthony (Ellyn) Novak, Larry (Patricia) Novak; 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; his beloved dog Murphy; and many wonderful family and friends who have been with him throughout his life.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his first wife Brenda S. (Gillespie) McKay; his great grandson Camari D. Robinson; his sister-in-law Delores (Benjamin) DeDionisio; his brother-in-law's Frank Novak, Ted Novak, Paul Novak.
No calling hours will be observed. Private celebration of life will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
