It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gregory Burdorf Miller, who left us

peacefully on August 25, 2025 at the age of 60.

Greg was a lifelong resident of Newton, Massachusetts, and a proud graduate of Newton North

High School. He was the beloved son of the late Max and Betty Miller, and a devoted brother to

Chris and Mark. He was a loving uncle to his nieces and nephews-Robert, Sam, Krystal, Victoria

and Max-who were a source of constant pride and joy in his life.

For 25 years, Greg was a proud and active member of the Elks, where he built meaningful

friendships and found joy in giving back to the community he loved. His loyalty and sense of

fellowship left a lasting impression on those around him.

Greg had many passions. He was an avid reader who always had a book in hand, a talented

home cook who loved sharing meals with loved ones, and a skilled card player who never

backed down from a good game. He found peace in the outdoors and joy on the golf course,

where he spent many afternoons enjoying the fresh air and good company. He was also a

devoted fan of all things New England-cheering faithfully for the Patriots, Red Sox, Bruins, and

Celtics through every season. "Greg's love for the Red Sox as a kid sparked a lifelong connection

to baseball and later softball. Friends still talk about the three-run homer he hit to win the

Newton Fast Pitch Softball league championship."

Greg's kindness, gentle humor, and unwavering love for his family and friends will be deeply

missed. He leaves behind countless memories that will be cherished forever.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the Elks Club

429 Centre Street, Newton, MA 02458 Hours 4pm – 7pm

All who knew Greg are welcome to come share stories, laughter, and remembrance.
