Gregory L. Moore, 75, of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania passed away on Sunday November 10, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Belinda V. (Jones) Moore with whom he had celebrated 48 years of marriage. Born in Brooklyn, New York he was the son of Clifford and Juanita Moore.
Gregory was residing in the East Stroudsburg area for the past 23 years. Prior to that he resided in the Brooklyn, New York area. He was employed as an officer of the Bridge and Tunnel Works for the City of New York for many years. He was a Navy Veteran having served during the Vietnam War.
In addition to his wife, Belinda, he is survived by his children: Gregory Hill of East Stroudsburg, PA, Erik Hill of Indianapolis, Indiana, Tanya West of Fort Washington, MD, Velicia Marseille of Charlotte, NC and Lamar D. Moore of East Stroudsburg, PA, a sister Beverly Phipps of Queens, NY and 43 grand and great grandchildren.
Private cremation services were provided by the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th. St. Stroudsburg, PA 18360

"A sailor from the Vietnam War has passed away today ." Gregory, you are now relieved from your watch. A job well done fellow navy Vietnam Veteran. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The carrier has turned into the wind preparing for your final departure. The final volley has sounded and taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation´s defender. Smooth sailing shipmate.
