Gregory Nelson Obituary
Beloved son of Robert A. Nelson II and the late Carol S. Nelson nee Ruiz; loving brother of Robert (Yesenia), James (Melinda), Carolyn (Shaun Brady), and Michael (Nubia); proud and loving uncle of Robert, Valerie, Leilani Nelson; and caring nephew, cousin, and friend to many. He also leaves behind his beloved Staffordshire Bull Terrier Milkshake.
Greg had a passion for travel and enjoyed playing poker and DJing in his free time. He deeply valued his family and took great pleasure in sharing meaningful experiences and his wisdom with friends and loved ones.
Visitation Saturday January 31, 2026, from 9 AM until Prayer Service 10:30 AM at Hickey Memorial Chapel 2429 W. 127th St Blue Island, IL 60406. Funeral Mass 11 AM St Walter Church. Cremation Private. www.hickeyfuneral.com
