Gregory R. Paradis passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer on January 13, 2024. Greg was born August 27, 1957 to Gerald and Connie Paradis.
Greg proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corps.
Greg went on to work most of his life as a union painter in Union local 841. He retired from Yerman and Young Painting where he made many lifelong friends.
He married the love of his life, Carol, in 1976. Together they welcomed three children, Shannon, Greg, and Laura. Greg loved his family immensely. His children and grandchildren were the light of his life. He had the most genuine, kind heart and had words of encouragement for every person he encountered. In addition to his passion for his family, coming in a close second was his enthusiasm for fishing. It was not just a hobby; it was a lifestyle. He would take any spare moment to wet a line.
Greg is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Terri Paradis and nephew, Danny Paradis. He will be mourned for eternity by his wife, Carol, his children, Shannon (Dan) Dudich, Greg Paradis, Laura Paradis (Josh Heavner) and his grandchildren, Gavin and Hartley Dudich, Shelby Smetts, Raycer and Remi Paradis, Tyson Texter, Casey and Camryn Heavner and Mila Jiminez. Greg is also survived by brothers, Jerry (Renee) Paradis and Dan (Bev) Paradis, sister Launa Paradis, many nieces and nephews and a host of friends too long to list.
In lieu of flowers, you may donate to the family to help defray the cost of funeral expenses.
