Gregory Dale "Gregg" Parrett

Gregory "Gregg" Dale Parrett, 61, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away January 12, 2026, at Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House in Mountain Home. Gregg was born on December 15, 1964, in West Plains, Missouri to Clifford "Bucky" and Phyllis Jayne (Morgan) Parrett.
He graduated from Mountain Home High School in 1983. After graduation, he joined the Army and served as a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division. Gregg was medically discharged after being severely injured in a military accident in 1984. After a long and difficult recovery, he went to work for the U.S. Postal Service until he retired. He loved fishing and enjoyed being on the river.
He is survived by his loving family that includes his son, Morgan Parrett; father, Clifford "Bucky" Parrett; sister, Gay Lynne Parnell; grandson, Dyllan Reed; very special lifelong friends, Ronnie Blevins and Sean Cornett as well as many others.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis Jayne Parrett; daughter, Paige Parrett and lifelong friend, Joe Brant Dillard.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful staff at Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House for taking excellent care of Gregg and his family.
