Gregory Anthony Pawlowski

Gregory Anthony Pawlowski died on Thursday, April 10, 2008 at Rae-Ann Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center in Geneva. Born on March 13, 1925 in Warsaw, Poland, the 83 year old from New Lyme Township was a Polish war veteran who flew proudly in World War II. Gregory enjoyed gardening, reading, watching war movies, and passing out chocolates to those who visited. Gregory was not only charming, he was a wealth of knowledge and had a quick wit. He was dignified and brave until the very end of his life and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his loving daughter, Ann Moses of Geneva, devoted son, Anthony Pawlowski of San Diego, CA; and cherished grandchildren and great-grandsons. He was preceded in death by his dear wife, Nirvana (Superbi) Pawlowski in 1994. Gregory did not wish to have a service so in lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions in his memory be made to The Ashtabula County Animal Protective League, 5970 Green Road, Ashtabula, Ohio 44004.
