Gregory Ray Pierce

Gregory Ray Pierce, 63, of Jack Fork, passed away Saturday, Dc. 27, in Tulsa. The family will welcome friends for visitation on Monday, Dec. 29, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in Hartshorne. Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 30, at 2:00 p.m. at the Young Family Cemetery in Jack Fork, with Lonnie Clunn officiating.

Gregory Pierce was born on Nov. 9, 1962 in Blackwell, Okla. To Donald Ray Pierce and Shirley Ann (Hernandez) Pierce-McKay. He grew up in Blackwell and came to the Jack Fork area, mainly for the deer hunting, in 1982. He soon met Bonita Susanne Young, and they were married on Oct. 15, 1984, and they made their home and raised their family in Jack Fork. Gregory worked in the oil fields for several years, then became the water line supervisor for the construction company that was laying lines and building roads in the area. Gregory loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing, as well as other outdoor activities.

Gregory is survived by his wife, Bonita Susanne Pierce; their children, Brandon Pierce and wife Amber, Justin Pierce and wife Ashton, and Heather Killingsworth and husband Tanner; grandchildren, Cadence, Benton, Aidan, Kingston, Emilee, Alayna, Traclyn, Raymon, Madelyn, Paisley, Tanna, Oaklynn, Colby and wife Kylee, and Caleb; 2 great grandchildren, Laikyn and Kynslee; siblings, Michael, Stephen and wife Juanita, and Dannelle; mother-in-law, Bonnie; and step-father, Danny. Gregory was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Jennifer; a grandson, Jake Carter; father-in-law, Bill; and a brother, Brett.
