Gregory Mark "Greg" Plowman, 71, of Winamac, IN passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at his home. He was born on May 11, 1954 in Hammond, IN to the late Virgil R. and Doris J. (Keller-Horton) Plowman and attended school in Griffith, IN. Greg joined the US Marine Corps in 1972 and served during the Vietnam War. After returning home from service, he became a proud member of the Boilermakers Union Local #374 in Hammond. He retired in 2012. Greg was a talented cook and enjoyed the outdoors and riding motorcycles.

Misti (Heath) Hiatt, Niece
Rachel Plowman, Niece
Sam Hinkle, Nephew
Several Great Nieces and Nephews
Crystal Miller, Adopted Daughter
Preceded in death by:
Virgil R. and Doris J. (Keller-Horton) Plowman, Parents
Cremation will take place at Frain Crematory in Winamac.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM EDT Saturday, May 24, 2025 at the First Baptist Church in Winamac with Pastor Mark Pilger officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the American Legion and VFW.
Private Burial will take place at Black Pond Cemetery in Oregon County, MO.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the family c/o Crystal Miller.
Online Tributes may be offered at www.frainmortuary.com.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Frain Mortuary in Winamac.
