Gregory "Greg" McGee Reeves, 63, passed away suddenly on Friday, February 21, 2014 at Wayne Memorial Hospital. Greg was born in Lenoir County on April 24, 1950 to Marie Smith Wells of Goldsboro and the late Rexford Earl Reeves. He was a retired mechanic with the Wayne County School System. Greg will be remembered for his great love of NasCar Racing and his favorite driver, Dale Earnhardt. The family will receive friends Monday, February 24, 2014 from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home followed by a service celebrating Greg's life at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Kevin Craft officiating. In addition to his mother, Greg is survived by his wife of 28 years, Brenda H. Reeves; his daughters, Lisa Reeves Cantwell of Goldsboro and Michele McGaw of Erin, TN; step-children, Ricky Moore of Tennessee and Cassidy Edgerton of Goldsboro; sister, Daphine Hill of Goldsboro; and ten grandchildren.
