Gregory "Greg" Allen Richmeier, 67, passed away March 10, 2026, in Great Bend, Kansas. He was born November 18, 1958, in Hill City, to Danny & Virginia (Bell) Richmeier. He married Lisa K. Stremel May 5, 1984, in Great Bend.

Greg attended vocational school and obtained his plumbing certificate. He went to work for various oilfield companies including Chase Well Service. In 2005, he transitioned to Wal-Mart in the meat department until his retirement in 2022. Greg was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 41 years, Lisa K. Richmeier; son, Bryce Richmeier of Hays; daughter, Shayla Richmeier of Hutchinson; sister, Brenda Marcus and her husband John of Prairie Village; brothers, Fr. Garry Richmeier of Kansas City, Mo., Steve Richmeier and his wife Betty of Parkville, Mo., Danny Richmeier and his significant other Joyce Gates, of Jasper, Mo.; and granddaughter, Hannah Caton. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 19, 2026, at St. Rose Catholic Church with Fr. Amir Duraisamy and Fr. Garry Richmeier presiding. Rosary will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, March 19, 2026, at St. Rose Catholic Church. Private family inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made out to Gregory Richmeier Expense Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home, 1425 Patton Rd., Great Bend, KS 67530.
