Gregory William Rubel

Gregory William Rubel, age 47 born October 6,1977 passed away June 27, 2025, Simi Valley, Ca.

Greg packed a lifetime of love and laughter in his short time with us.

Although he worked in a few different fields he spent over 20 years as an iron worker. He was born and raised in Simi Valley, a genuine So Cal boy who loved the outdoors.

As a toddler he could be seen kicking a soccer ball on the sidelines while watching his big brother playing soccer until he was old enough to play himself. He enjoyed surfing and snowboarding but his greatest love was skateboarding. During his younger years he could be found with his 3 cousins skateboarding the streets, parks and hills of Pasadena. Greg continued boarding up until his passing.

Although Gregory may no longer be with us physically ,his smile, laughter and spirit will remain in our hearts and memories always.

Gregory is survived by his parents Gary and Patricia, brother Gary Jr. and sisters Sandra and Jennifer and their families. He is also survived by his grandfather, aunts, nieces, nephews and numerous cousins.

Services will be held at St. Peter Claver Church on July 18, 2025 at 10:00 am 2380 Stow St.
