Gregory Dale Scott, 68, passed away on November 18, 2025, after a courageous four-year battle with cancer. He faced his illness with the same quiet strength, determination, and grace that defined his life, inspiring everyone who walked beside him.

He was born in Brockville, Ontario, Canada, on April 11, 1957, to Nelson and Norma Scott. Greg spent his childhood in Brockville alongside his big brother, Geoff, playing hockey and enjoying cottage life on the lakes and the St. Lawrence River in the heart of the beautiful 1000 Islands. His adventurous spirit and love for life stayed with him throughout his years.

In his early years, Greg worked for CNR and the City of Brockville before discovering his true passion: transportation. He found both purpose and joy on the open road, spending many dedicated years with Meyers Transportation.

In 2007, Greg bravely picked up his life and moved to Ohio to marry his new love, Robbi. Together, they spent the next 18 years building a beautiful life filled with love, partnership, and shared dreams. Greg continued his career in transportation at FST Logistics, where he was known for his reliability, strong work ethic, and good-hearted nature.

Greg had a deep love of music and was a great dancer. He loved spinning all the pretty girls around the dance floor, bringing laughter and energy wherever he went. His passion for music and dance was another way he shared his joy for life with everyone around him. He also had a special love for his family dogs—Sandy, Rocko, Gracie and Poppy—who brought him endless joy and companionship over the years.

One of Greg’s proudest moments came in 2022, when he became a United States citizen. He embraced his new home with gratitude and pride, while always carrying his Canadian roots close to his heart.

Greg never met a stranger, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. His life was shaped by love, loyalty, and a deep sense of commitment—to his family, his friends, his work, and the people he cared for. He will be remembered for his big heart, quiet strength, and the way he made others feel seen and supported.

Greg is survived by his loving wife, Robbi, his brother Geoff, his sister-in-law Tammy, and many family members and friends who will forever hold him close in their hearts.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date to honor Greg’s infectious energy and love of life. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
