Gregory Gene Seel, born on' August 5, 1961, in Dearborn, Michigan, sadly passed away on April 5, 2025, in Taylor, Michigan, at the age of 63.

Gregory was a dedicated hydraulic technician throughout his 40-year career, known for his expertise and commitment to his work. He worked for St. Lawrence Hydraulics in Romulus, Michigan and Servo Kinetics Inc located in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Outside of his professional life, he found joy in the outdoors and in craftsmanship. He was an avid fisherman and hunter who cherished the peace and adventure that these past times brought him. He also enjoyed boating, water skiing, tubing and camping, with family and friends. Gregory also had a passion for woodworking, crafting pieces that reflected his attention to detail and creativity. He collected coins, appreciating the history and uniqueness of each item in his collection.

Greg had a known love for beagles. His first beagle was named Bandit, and from there he and his wife Nancy had many more including Lucy, Patch, Maggie, Fern, and Fawn. Each beloved beagle was unique, and had a special place in the family.

Gregory was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Mary Ellen Seel, as well as his sisters, Loretta Watson and Rosemary Simmons. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Nancy Seel (Thomas) of 35 years. He is also survived by his children Lance Seel (Stacy), Lindsay Seel, who will continue to honor his memory. His granddaughter, Aurora Seel, brought immense joy to his life and his expected granddaughter Audrey Gene Seel (due 7/27/2025) will be honored with her grandfather's middle name.

Gregory is also survived by his siblings, Therese Slaby, Irene Polce, Bryan Seel, Jerry Seel, Alan Seel, and Anita Shipe (James) who will fondly remember their time spent together.

Gregory will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His legacy of love for family, nature, and craftsmanship will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched.
