Mr. Greg Tucker, age 49, of Shelbyville, TN passed away June 18, 2025. Greg was born April 28, 1976 in Hamilton, OH to the late L. Eartley Tucker and Theresa Marcella Wade Tucker who survives. He was a member of Redemption Baptist Church where he continued to serve the Lord in all that he did.

Greg was known to many as a passionate, understanding, and caring individual. He was known to his wife as “MacGyver.” Greg was a selfless individual with many years of public service. He was a part of the Bedford County Jeep Club and enjoyed traveling with his wife and family. You would often find Greg fixing just about anything you put in front of him. He was the most selfless man. Greg had a true love for his wife, kids, and grandchildren.

Greg began his service to the country when he enlisted in the United States Army where he proudly served out of Fort Rucker, AL. While in the military, he was a part of the flight medevac team out of Flat Iron and an E4 specialist in the military. He later began his career with the Franklin Fire Department where he has served faithfully the last 14 years.

Greg is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Kristina Ammon Tucker of Shelbyville, TN; children, Matthew (Breeanna) Tucker of Lynnville, TN, Faith Tucker of Shelbyville, TN, and Andrew Tucker of Shelbyville, TN; grandchildren, Kai Tucker and Jude Tucker “Papa”; mother, Theresa Marcella Tucker; and his Franklin Fire Department family.

Visitation with the Tucker family will be Monday, June 23, 2025, at the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home from 4PM – 8PM. A visitation period will follow on Tuesday, June 24,2025 at 11AM – 1PM. The funeral service will begin on Tuesday at 1PM with Pastor Joel Young officiating. The interment will follow at Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill with Fire and Military Honors.

Memorial Donations may be made to Franklin Firefighter Charity in Franklin, TN.
