Gregory Patrick Tyre III

Tyre – Gregory Patrick Tyre III, age 18, of Lake Park, Geogia passed away suddenly on July 6, 2022. Greg was born in Gainesville, Florida on August 15, 2003 to his loving parents Gregory Patrick Tyre II and Leslie Anne Powell Lee. He was raised in Lake Butler, FL and when he turned 16, he relocated to Lake Park, GA. Greg attended Lowndes County High School and earned his diploma from Wiregrass Community College in 2021. Shortly after high school, Greg began his career at Binderholtz Sawmill where he enjoyed working and eager to grow in the company. He enjoyed fishing, kayaking, swimming at the springs, and listening to a variety of music. Greg had the biggest heart and would do anything for others. He spent his money on things he wanted and spoiling others he knew he would make more and wasn't afraid to spend it. More than anything, Greg loved his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Gregory Patrick Tyre, Sr.
Greg is survived by his parents, Gregory (Jessica) Patrick Tyre II of Jennings, FL and Leslie (Jerome) Lee of Lake City, FL; paternal grandparents, Gary & Dora Jackson of Lake Park, GA; maternal grandparents, Jerry & Debra Powell of Lake Butler, FL; great grandmother, Judith G. Young of Orange Park, FL; brother, Chase Tyre of Lake City, FL; sister, Mary Tyre of Lake City, FL; step sister, Talena Lee of Lake City and Hayleigh Capps of Jennings, FL; aunt, Judith Young; uncles, Jeremy Powell, Chris Tyre, Jason Barnett, and Kyle (Tiffany) Tyre; and many cousins, friends, and extended family members.
A Celebration of Greg's Life will be held on Wednesday July 13, 2022 at 11:00 am at Ferreira Chapel in Lake Butler, FL with Bro. Dalton Harrington officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Providence, FL. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the care and direction of V.
