Gregory Weber Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Melson Funeral Services - Frankford Chapel on Oct. 13, 2025.
Gregory James Weber, 76, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2025, at his home in Frankford Delaware, surrounded by his family. Greg was born on September 29, 1949 to parents Catherine and Theodore Weber. Greg grew up with six siblings, preceded in death by Pat, Cathy, Jean and Marty, survived by Mike and Carolyn.

Greg and Arlene (Argo) were happily married for 56 years. Together they raised two children, Quintin and Mona. He was a loving uncle to Max Argo and assumed a fatherly role. Greg was a devoted and proud father. His son-in-law Ken Horner, daughter-in-law Candace Weber and grand-son-in-law Brendan Frank held a special place in his heart. He loved them as much as his own children. He cherished his grandchildren, Cameron Horner, Logan Frank, Mason Weber, and great granddaughter Sadie Frank. Survived by many nieces, nephews and their children, who endearingly referred to Greg as Uncle Pop-Pop. Preceded in death by sisters-in-law Charlotte Clark (Argo), Marlene Argo and brother-in-law Edgar Argo.

Greg was a graduate of Kenwood High School in Baltimore County where he excelled as an athlete. He loved to tell stories about his days as a baseball pitcher. He had quite a reputation for being an excellent baseball player. He also played basketball and later in life softball and golf.

After graduating high school, Greg had a long career at Lucent Technologies as a Draftsman and Supervisor.

Greg and Arlene retired to Frankford, Delaware and built a house on 3 acres of land. Greg enjoyed tending to his yard and relaxing on his porch with a cold drink.

Greg will be remembered as a kind person with a great sense of humor, he always made us laugh. We are thankful to have so many memories that we will cherish forever.
