Gregory Williamson Obituary

Published by Legacy on Sep. 19, 2025.
Gregory Mark Williamson departed peacefully on 5/22/25 at the age of 70. He was born in Los Angeles California on March 25th 1955, the second of six boys to Evelyn Plavsa Williamson and Albert Williamson. He moved to Dallas, Texas as a child where he spent most of his adult life, starting a successful business and raising four children with his wife of 22 years, Anna Black Williamson. He was exceptionally intelligent, tenacious, and hard working which contributed to his professional success.

Greg was kind, generous, and loving. He was a friend to so many. He loved fast cars, telling jokes, and his wife and children. He coached his son's t-ball, baseball, and football teams, and never failed to show up early to every horse show, everyone's favorite donuts and kolaches in hand. Greg would go out of his way to help any fellow human in whom he saw the need. He was a patient and empathetic father, hard worker, and a glass half full guy until the very end. He was loved and will be missed by so very many.

Greg was preceded in death by his daughter; Jennifer Brooke Williamson, his parents; Evelyn Williamson and Albert Williamson, his brother Albert (TD) Williamson Jr. and nephews; Derek Williamson and Zack Williamson. He is survived by his children; Krista Williamson, Lindsay Williamson, and Greg Williamson Jr., Grandchildren; Oscar Lin, Verik Lin, and Evelyn Lin, Ex-wife; Anna Williamson Knoedl, his brothers; Michael Williamson, Jeffrey Williiamson (Sheila Williamson), Dana Williamson (Karen Williamson), and Timothy Williamson, as well as many nieces and nephews, and countless friends.

In lieu of flowers, please honor his spirit and keep his legacy alive with an act of random kindness (or many) to anyone in need, by telling a joke, or extending a hand in friendship.
