Gretta Kay (Wanzie) Seitzinger, 81 passed away peacefully into the arms of our heavenly father on the night of December 29th, 2024. Gretta was a role model to many and inspired others to do their best. No matter what challenges she faced in her life, she always pushed through with her faith, courage, resilience and strength. Her victories were a testimony to God's grace.
Gretta was strong willed, independent, selfless, generous, hardworking, and a survivor. She never met a stranger. She was a true friend to many and loved them and her family with all of her heart. Her legacy will forever be cherished by everyone that had the privilege of knowing her.
Gretta is predeceased in death by her husband and father of her children Richard Leo Wanzie in 1974. He sadly passed away at the age of 32. Her second husband Earl Seitzinger, sister Janice (Robert) Yeager, brother Lyle (Nancy) Alleman, mother Cora Elizabeth (Henchey) Alleman and Father Clarence Alleman.
Gretta will be lovingly remembered and missed by her son Richard (Brigid) Wanzie and her daughter Tami (Michael) Wanzie Doherty. Her grandchildren that she adored, Kandice Rungta, Korey Wanzie, Riley (Jesse) Blankenship, Haley Fleischer (Josh Klemm); great-granddaughter Shylah Rungta, brother Rodney (June) Alleman, sister Nancy Martin and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
