Fort Worth, Texas - Guadalupe "Pepe" Acuna Jr., 79, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2024.
Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Friday, December 6, 2024 in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m. with a visitation from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 5, 2024 at Mount Olivet Chapel.
Pepe was born on August 4, 1945, in Orange Grove, Texas, to parents, Guadalupe Acuna Sr and Antonia Silva Acuna. A dedicated and hardworking individual, Pepe was a long-time employee at Lenox, Bureau of Printing and Engraving. He proudly served his country and retired from the U.S. Army with the rank of 1st Class Master Sargent.
He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother and friend, but most importantly, Pepe was first and foremost a devoted husband and provider. His unwavering generosity, kindness, and willingness to help others left a lasting impact on all who crossed his path. Whether it was lending a hand or offering a word of encouragement, his spirit of selflessness will be deeply missed by those who were fortunate to know him.
Pepe was preceded in death by his father, Guadalupe Acuna Sr; mother, Antonia Silva Acuna; brothers, Crecensio, Carlos, Rito and adopted siblings, Ricardo, Emma, Ramon; and son, Ernesto Rodriguez.
Survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Ascenet "Senieda" Acuna; children, Guadalupe "Lupita" Orosco, Guadalupe Acuna III, Gabriel Acuna and wife, Samantha, Delfina Ramirez and husband, Robert, Gilbert D. Acuna; beloved grandson, Anthony Acuna; 14 grandchildren; siblings, Issac, Adela, Jose, Rosa, Juanita, Leo, Maryana, Esteban, Jesus and adopted siblings, Sofia, Guadalupe, Concepcion.
