Our Loving Dad, Guadalupe Almanzar (Lupe), age 77, passed away peacefully at home on February 15, 2024, in El Paso, Texas and is now resting eternally with our dear Lord Jesus Christ. Lupe was born and raised in San Elizario, Texas, where he grew up with 10 older siblings who he loved dearly. He retired from the City of Socorro as a Foreman for the Street Department after 25 years of service in 2012. He loved his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Lupe enjoyed family gatherings surrounded by his loved ones, and loved being outside tending to his trees, while enjoying hot summer days. He looked forward to sipping on his coffee and having his honey bun every morning while gazing at the mountains and all nature has to offer.
Guadalupe is preceded in death by his parents Margarito and Refugio Almanzar and his siblings. Guadalupe is survived by his three children, Martha A. Fernandez (Ramon)†, Guadalupe Almanzar Jr, and Hilda A. Juarez (Raymundo). Grandchildren, Lydia (Tamara), Ashley (Edgar), Christopher, Brian, Jeremy, Jianna, and Devin. Great Grandchildren, Ryu and Noah.
Dad, we love you so much, your kind soul and gentle ways will greatly be missed. We look forward to seeing you again in heaven where we know you will be waiting for us with open arms.
