Guadalupe Balderas age 75 went to be with the lord on August 23,2025. Surrounded by the love and comfort of her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband Guillermo Balderas, her parents Macario Ortiz and Luisa Decena Ortiz her brothers Gilbert Falcon, Aristeo Ortiz, Trinidad Ortiz, Luis Ortiz, Bernadino Ortiz Sr., Santos Ortiz, and Juan Abel Ortiz.

She is survived by her loving son Christopher Guadalupe Ortiz
Sister Dominga O. Solis (Robert), Jose Ortiz (Becky), and Reynaldo Ortiz (Cathy).
Her devoted companion Oscar, numerous nieces, net, great nieces and great nephews. Who will carry her memory forward with love.

Guadalupe was joyful, loving and funny woman who found deep happiness in being a mom, Tia, sister and friend.
She had a passion for family gatherings, tending to her plants, doing yard work, dancing and listening to music. Her heart was always warm; her weekend dinners and infectious laughter will be dearly missed. Let us come together to celebrate her remarkable spirit. She will be missed and forever loved.

Funeral services are as follows:

Saturday - August 30, 2025: Visitation 10am-3pm at Texas Funeral Home Chapel, 2702 Castroville Road, San Antonio, Texas 78237 with a rosary being recited at 1:00pm by Deacon Albert Ramirez. Saturday's service will conclude at 3pm with a graveside service to take place September 11, 2025 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
