Guadalupe was born in Harlingen, Texas to Miguel Camacho and Bartola Villanueva. She was the second born child with 9 brothers and sisters. As a child Guadalupe’s family traveled as migratory agricultural workers. She continued to travel and work after she started her family at a young age. She had many jobs during that time, including as a foreman and she spent some time working in the cannery. She eventually settled in Concord where she lived while she raised her daughter, before moving to the final city she’d call home, San Jose, California where she met her husband of 55 years, Frank Llorente.

Guadalupe lived a few miles from her daughter, son-in-law and four grandchildren. She loved spending time with them and helping them when they were little. She could always be counted on to make them laugh and lend a hand. Guadalupe loved sharing her beauty tips, showing off her muscles and letting you know that even though she was only 4’8” she could still take you down with her wrestling moves. Guadalupe had a green thumb and loved her plants and trees at her house. Even as she grew older, she could often be found in her backyard trying to maintain her yard, her mind was sharp as a tack, and she could remember details from her childhood. She often spoke fondly of her mother and siblings and extended family.

Guadalupe is survived by her husband Frank Llorente; her daughter, Susan de la Cerda; her grandchildren, Romulo (Angela) de la Cerda III, Daniel (Connie) de la Cerda, Gabriel de la Cerda and Yolanda de la Cerda; her great grandchildren, Anthony, Jessica, Melissa, Alyssa, Cassandra, Joseph, Alysson (Andre), Alexander (Anjelica), Angelina, Delilah, Nicolas, Izaeyah, Vince, Cristina and Nathaniel and 15 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Rosie (Benny) Gonzalez, Teresa (Reyes) Gonzalez and Mario Aleman, Jr.

Guadalupe is proceeded in death by her parents Miguel Camacho and Bartola Villanueva, her stepfather Mario Aleman, her son-in-law Romulo de la Cerda Jr., her siblings Frank Garza, Manuel Camacho, Gilbert Camacho, Miguel Camacho, Juanita Aleman and Jeaniva Camacho Langston.
