Guadalupe Omar Marquez, 47, of Bloomfield, NM passed away on September 8, 2025, in Albuquerque, NM. Guadalupe was born on June 11, 1978, in Camargo, Camargo, Chihuahua to Dolores Marquez.
Guadalupe Omar Marquez grew up in Chihuahua, Mexico. He later moved to Bloomfield, NM with his wife to start a family. He worked for key energy, LF well service and Baywater. In his free time Omar liked to spend time with his family, making carnitas and chicharrónes. Omar was a loving husband, father and friend, he was always there for whoever needed him.
Guadalupe is preceded in death by his grandparents, Manuel Marquez and Maria Ortega.
Guadalupe is survived by his wide Elvia Elena Alcantar, his sons Omar Ali Marquez, Andy Ari Marquez and Erick Marquez, His daughters Amy Marquez and Becky Marquez and his Mother Dolores Marquez.
Visitation will be held on Friday September 19th at 6:00 pm at 57 Road 5457 Farmington, NM 87401
Funeral services will be held the following day Saturday September 20th at Saint Marry’s Catholic Church ( 2100 E 20th St ,Farmington, NM 87401) at 11:00 am with Father Chacon officiating.
A Reception will be held on Saturday September 20th at 1:00 pm at Saint Marry’s parish hall is Farmington, NM
Serving as Pallbearers are, Omar Ali Marquez, Andy Ari Marquez, Raymundo Alcantar, Edgar Santana, Abraham Santana, Raymundo Jr. Alcantar
