It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Guadalupe L. Rodriguez, who passed away peacefully on September 10, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on March 21, 1947, in San Antonio, TX, Guadalupe lived a life rich with experiences that shaped his character and touched those around him.

Guadalupe spent his early years playing baseball and relishing the great outdoors while camping. He was a hardworking man, always keeping busy with carpentry projects-his hands were truly an extension of his creativity. A proud veteran, he served in the Army during the Vietnam War, stationed in Germany, where he forged lifelong friendships and memories.

For 18 years, Guadalupe worked tirelessly for the Harlandale Independent School District, where he made a mark as the food transportations, ensuring students received their meals with care. He loved being part of the community and building lasting relationships with everyone around him. In recent years, due to health challenges that limited his mobility, Guadalupe found solace in God's Word. He devoted his time to studying and writing out Bible verses.

Guadalupe is survived by his sons Bobby Rodriguez, Guadalupe L. Rodriguez Jr, and Fred Anthony Rodriguez (Adrianna); brother Johnny Rodriguez; stepsisters Celia Herrera and Helen Morales.

Guadalupe was preceded in death by: Parents Robert and Elana Rodriguez; stepmother Elana Rodriguez; and his beloved wife Virginia Rodriguez.
