Guadalupe Loyola Quintana Serna, beloved mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, sister and aunt, went to be with our Lord on October 12, 2025. She was born to Matilde Quintana and was always surrounded by the large and loving family of Juan Andres and Elvira Quintana.
Loyola graduated from Espanola Hornets High School. She married Abe H Serna of El Guache, NM. They were blessed with 5 wonderful children.
She is survived by her husband Abe Serna; 2 daughters, Patsy (Hector) Apodaca of Las Cruces, NM, Elaine Serna of Arizona; 3 sons Bobby (Angie) Serna of Tucson, Az; Kenny (Robert) Serna of Espanola, NM; Darren (Mandy) Serna of Albuquerque, NM; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
A public viewing will take place on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Espanola, NM at 10:00 a.m. and a rosary will take place at 11:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 a.m. and burial to follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
