Eric “Goldie” L. Chavez passed away on Feb. 9, 2026, unexpectedly.
Eric was an easy-going kind of guy. He made friends everywhere he went. He spent most of his life caring for his parents.
He was the baby of the family and no kids of his own but loved spending time with his nieces and nephews.
Eric was preceded in death by his older brother Paul; nephews Patrick and Peter; his best friend Orlando Lopez and his parents Hipolito and Griselda Chavez.
Eric is survived by his sister Paula Chavez; nephews Michael and Chris Cata; niece Patricia (Aaron) Cata; great nieces and nephews and so many more friends that were like family.
Services are pending at this time.
