Gumecindo Barcenas Obituary

Gumecindo was preceded in death by his parents Carmen and Flora Barcenas, his grandson, Juan DeLaTorre, his brother, Benjamin Barcenas, and his sister, Leonor Barcenas.
Gumecindo is survived by his daughter, Rafaela Barcenas, his son, Gumesindo Barcenas Jr., brothers Samuel, J. Carmen, Roberto, Martin, Raul, Aureliano, Benito, and Juan Barcenas, and sister Alberta Barcenas. Gumecindo is also survived by his 9 grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, from 5:00pm - 8:00pm at Trevino Funeral Home with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. James Catholic Church on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Glenwood Cemetery.
As we remember Gumecindo, we invite you to share your fondest memories and upload photos of him on the memorial page. Let us together celebrate his remarkable life and the many ways he touched our hearts. His life's journey was not just a passage of time, but a collection of life-changing experiences and relationships. He has left us physically, but his spirit continues to inspire and guide us.
