Gunnar Brian Swanson

Gunnar Brian Swanson, 33, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2025. He was born Aug. 25, 1992, in Bellevue, Wash., to Julie (Fromdahl) and Jeff Swanson.

The outdoors was Gunnar's true home. Whether bowhunting, fishing or exploring the wilderness, he found his greatest peace in nature. He shared that passion through his work in sporting equipment sales, helping others pursue their own adventures in camping, hunting and fishing.

A dedicated athlete, Gunnar pitched at Everett Community College and Lewis-Clark State College, earning the respect of teammates and coaches through his commitment and skill.

Those who knew Gunnar remember his kindness, his humor that could brighten any moment, and his deep love for family and friends. He had a gift for making people feel valued, and his warmth extended to the pets he cherished.

Gunnar was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harry and Kathleen Swanson and Brian and Phyllis Fromdahl. He is survived by his parents, Jeff and Julie Swanson; his sister, McKenna Swanson; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and beloved pets.
