David & Family: Although almost everybody called him Gus, he was always Uncle Leon to me and my sister, Brenda. What a GREAT and kind man he was: always pleasant, cheerful, thoughtful, good attitude, great sense of humor, and was always kind to my family (Loraine, Earl, and Brenda). I didn't see him often in later years, mostly due to my phobia about interstate driving, but I thought of him often. I was glad that I called him last month and had a long visit over the phone, and enjoyed the pictures he texted me. I will certainly continue to be in prayer for David and his family--it hurts so much to lose a good parent--but one day we will all be reunited in Heaven with an eternity to enjoy each other and worship God!
