Gust Vastardis

1948 - 2021

Gust E. Vastardis, age 73, passed away at home on July 3, 2021. He was the loving husband of the late Linda J. (Moffitt) Vastardis; together they shared 22 years of marriage. Gust was born in Reading on May 22, 1948 and was the son of the late Epamin and Victoria (Spirelis) Vastardis. Gust proudly served his country in the United States Navy before being honorably discharged. He then spent most of his life working as a salesman in various industries. Gust truly loved being in sales and having the ability to help people. He also enjoyed playing and watching golf, cars, traveling, and numbers. Gust most especially loved his family. Gust is survived by his son Christopher Vastardis and wife Noelia; his daughter Amanda Zekany and husband Dennis; his step-sons Todd Mummert and Keith Mummert; his step-daughter Missy Edwards; his grandchildren Gabriele, Adrian, Mason, Cody, Alyssa, Caleb, Colton, Zoe, and Madison. He is also survived by his brother William Vastardis; nephew Jason; and niece Pamela. A funeral service in celebration of Gust’s life will be held on Saturday at 11:00AM at Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc. 175 N. Main St. Spring Grove PA 17362.
